Griffin's National Junior Honor Society Field trip . . .
Members of the Griffin School Chapter of National Junior Honor Society visited the Thurston County Food Bank Distribution Center in Olympia, Washington to help prepare the "For Kids" bags that go home with students on Fridays!
39 NJHS members assembled the bags that go home on Fridays to make sure students from all over Thurston County have enough food for the weekend. In less than two hours, the Griffin NJHS assembly line put together over 1,000 For Kids bags! And on top of that, our members also sorted and coded another pallet of food donations in preparation for future distribution. It was a great day of service for our local community, and we also had a lot of fun doing it!

Today's performance of Cinderella was fantastic! Don't miss the final show this evening at 7 pm, tickets can be purchased at the door.
Scarlett Skillman was "Principal for the Day" thanks to the CHS Booster Auction. It was a busy day in Ms. Keiser's office but some of the highlights were handing out Golden Griff Paws and helping Mrs. Pipkin teach a Kelso's Choice lesson to 2nd grade! And of course meeting Mr. Rust.
Thanks to everyone who turned out for last night's levy information forum. I'm working to answer some of the questions that were posed and will post those in the news section this week. Remember, ballots are due by Feb 13.
