Shoutout to Team Potkonjak - Class Congress! They envisioned and executed a community project that brought together students and staff from across the pod.

RUE'S WRAP: I had a chance to visit our middle school Future Technology class today and check out the projects that students are creating using design software and a 3D printer. They are solving real-world problems with their designs! 7th grader Ender Aikins designed a clip to hold his ski poles and a whistle (it really works!). 7th grader Bailey Brongil developed a sturdy design for some pegs that hold up the textbook shelves in Mr. Pipkin's classroom! Another student actually designed and printed trombone mouth pieces as replacements for damaged mouth pieces, and is now working on his computer to design a miniature glider that he anticipates will actually fly. Our kids are so creative, and they are learning skills in Future Technology that will serve them well in the future.

The Sweet Spot: We heard you want more treats! While we can't do dessert every day, we kicked things off with Frosted Brownies on Hamburger Day—and they were a total hit! 💥
New Menu Alert: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, 1/21! We’re debuting the Banana Split Parfait (Fresh bananas, pineapple, strawberries, yogurt, and granola). If you love them, they stay! 🍌🍓
The Compass Crew Remix: Starting in February, we’re adding Grilled Cheese to the rotation to give you more variety while keeping the line moving fast! 🧀
