Drop-offs and pick-ups on the main road are dangerous! Please stick to the designated drop-off line in the parking lot to keep all our students safe.
See you in the loop! 🐻

Today, September 30th, our Griffin staff and students joined together in wearing orange to observe Orange Shirt Day and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Why We Wear Orange:
Orange Shirt Day honors the survivors of Indigenous residential and boarding schools, remembers the children who never came home, and stands in solidarity with Indigenous families and communities.
The movement originated from the story of Phyllis Webstad, a Northern Secwepemc survivor. At six years old, Phyllis arrived at residential school wearing a brand-new orange shirt given to her by her grandmother, only to have it forcibly taken away. Today, the color orange serves as a powerful symbol of remembrance, stripping away of culture, and our collective commitment to ensuring that Every Child Matters.
Thank you to our Griffin community for showing your support, opening conversations, and wearing orange today!

Our 3rd graders have been diving into the U.S. Constitution to learn all about our rights and responsibilities as American citizens.
To mark Nationwide Constitution Day on September 17th—commemorating the historic signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787—our students had an extra special experience! They participated in an interactive event where they got a hands-on look at the justice system, explored Jury Deliberation, and reflected on what evidence supports guilt or innocence. ⚖️🔍
Way to go, Griffin Grizzlies! 🐻✨

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?
We see a whole school full of spirit! 🐻✨
Our Kindergarten readers spent the last two weeks exploring the Bill Martin Jr. classic, and we loved celebrating with daily color dress-up themes and supporting our youngest learners! 🎨
