Wishing Tree

This spring, Griffin had a beautiful art project displayed, inspired by world-renowned artist and activist Yoko Ono’s famous Wish Tree project.

Our version, titled Griffin’s Wishing Tree, invited students to reflect on the power of positive intentions. Rather than making personal or material wishes, students were challenged to think selflessly and create a wish that benefits others—whether for their families, their community, or the world at large.

The idea behind the project is simple yet profound: what you put out into the universe is a powerful thing. By writing down these selfless intentions and hanging them from the branches of our tree, our Grizzlies are actively practicing empathy and sharing positive energy with the community.
