Children ages 0 to 5 years old will be screened for vision, hearing, speech/language, motor coordination, learning skills and social emotional behaviors.

Through screenings, referrals, and comprehensive evaluations, Child Find helps determine whether a child qualifies for special education and related services. Parents play a crucial role in this process, as their consent is required for evaluations, and they are actively involved in decision-making. By identifying children early, Child Find helps provide the necessary support and interventions to promote academic success and overall development, ensuring that no child in need of assistance is overlooked.
